47 - Setting Up Customer Defaults

This video will show you how to set customer defaults, before actually starting the sales process, most of the things that are available in vendor defaults are found in customer defaults as well. We will see setting up standard terms of transactions, adjusting discounts on payments prior to due date and general ledger accounts that gets effected by customer transactions. Users will as well learn about setting up credit status of customer, this though is being setup as default for every customer, but customized credit status can be applied to individual customers too. Users will as well learn about setting up account aging, setting up custom fields that may be required by business from its customers.
More over finance charges are discussed in detail, this is slightly tricky concept in setting up finance charges when balance at customer's end get over due, so users will learn how many days are given as relief before finance charges are applied on customer balance, as well setting up minimum finance charges to be applied. Lastly, users will learn about setting up payment methods that can be used to charge customers.
